Privacy policy
Last updated:
ShareMyMesh has no accounts: we don't ask for your name, email or phone number to publish a build. This is everything we do with data.
What we keep
- The build details you enter and up to 3 photos. Everything is published in the catalog.
- Only the country and the city or neighborhood. Never coordinates or addresses.
- When you published and which version of the terms you accepted.
- Vote and sighting counters, without knowing who voted.
- Your email, only if you write to us.
Photos without location
Since September 28, 2026, your browser removes each photo's metadata (including GPS) before uploading it, and the site shows processed copies, not the original file. Still, check that no address or license plate is visible in the picture.
Technical data
Your IP is used to stop abuse for 24 hours at most and is not stored with your build. The “Verify presence” button asks your browser for your location, but doesn't send it to the site.
Analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Analytics without cookies: pages visited, country, device type and load times, always as totals. The only cookies remember your language and currency. No ads, no tracking.
Who processes the data
Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database), Cloudinary (photos), Upstash (abuse limits) and Proton (email). Some store data outside your country.
We don't sell data
We don't sell or share data with anyone.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to Contact with the subject “Privacy” and the link to the build. Builds are kept while they are published. If you ask for removal, we delete your build and its photos on request.
We apply Argentina's Law 25,326 and give the same rights to everyone, wherever they live. If you're not satisfied, you can file a complaint with Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP).
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. The rules for publishing are in the terms of use.
